Day 2 left us speechless

Day 2 - we don't even have words to describe this day. The drive from Bloemfontein to Graaf-Reinet was absolutely breath taking. Our poor bus climbed every pass and magically made it down safely - a big shout out to our driver Bruce, his calm and experience made this possible.

And then we joined the SCLC in Vrygronde, an informal settlement close to Graaf-Reinet. The heartfelt welcome, the outstanding work of the community members at the Agrological Hub and the enthusiasm of the leadership team will stay with us for a long time. The seed of a plastic-free grocery concept has been planted and it landed on very fertile ground. When saying goodbye we were told to come back in a few months and the community in Vrygronde will show that a plastic-free shop is possible in their community!

Our heart are overflowing and we are now going to sleep with a smile on the face. Tomorrow we'll continue to Gqeberha and visit Masifunde. We can't wait
